Meeting called to order at 7:30.

Cleanup Day

• The logistics for the cleanup day were discussed at the beginning of the meeting. Getting everyone on the same page was the goal. The help that the county was providing was talked about. Ideas were passed around to try and make the cleanup as successful as possible.

New/old business

• The group discussed the Hilltop Conservancy’s bank account. The account is active and is open at the Wachovia Bank in North Caldwell. The conservancy is now accepting dues. All contributions are tax deductible and the conservancy is tax exempt when it comes to making purchases for items used by the Hilltop Conservancy.
• A resolution for Boy Scout trail development was brought up and will be voted on at the next meeting.

Hilltop Education

• Pat Porcaro gave the group a presentation on GPS and a digital map of the Hilltop. Pat did a wonderful job showing the group proposed development areas and giving many of us a much clearer picture of what is actually the Hilltop land. It was discussed that these digital pictures can help the group in the future for developing maps for the reservation.
