Hi again Hilltoppers. Essex County is sponsoring us / the Conservancy for another Green Acres grant this year, to make further improvements in the Hilltop Reservation. To that end, they are conducting a survey of Hilltop usage and proposed improvements. Please click on the link below, follow the survey prompts, and provide your feedback by January 31, 2026.
There are also free text fields for additional commentary, e.g., my personal pet peeve is leftovers from institutional use, so I’ve added text per removal of the old parking lots / decommissioned water tanks / concrete bases / shooting range / etc. ….
One little quirk — if you select the dog park and / or trails sections, you will be required to force rank / prioritize the listed features. And you can only select one priority once; i.e., if “Better signage and trail markers” are of highest importance to you for trail improvements, you will not be allowed to select highest importance for the other three proposed priorities.
