We’ve been improving ways to help inform visitors to the Hilltop Reservation.
First, we worked with the Essex County Parks Department to relocate and clean the information kiosks at the eastern and western entrances in order to make them more visible to the public. We’ve posted recent announcements and will be updating kiosk contents throughout the year.
Second, we’ve installed “Support Your Conservancy” signs throughout the Reservation to let visitors know that the nature preserve is maintained and improved by our local volunteers, and to encourage them to become members, make a donation and / or volunteer for habitat restoration projects.
And third, we’ve installed new signage at trail entrances and at various points on the Hilltop’s 11 trails. Please let us know if you see anything that needs repair or replacement?
