About

The Hilltop Conservancy, Inc. is a non-profit organization of local residents formed in 2003.  Our 100+ volunteers are dedicated to preserving and caring for the Hilltop Reservation, a 284-acre passive-use facility of the Essex County Parks system, located within the New Jersey host communities of Verona, Cedar Grove and the Caldwells.

We are recognized by the IRS (under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code) and by the State of New Jersey as a public charity qualified to receive tax-deductible contributions.  If you desire a copy of Hilltop Conservancy, Inc.’s financial report you may send an email or snail-mail request to the Hilltop Conservancy Treasurer.  Or, because we are registered with the State of New Jersey, information filed with NJ concerning our charitable registration may be obtained from the state attorney general by calling (973) 504-6215.

The Conservancy’s Executive Committee holds annual meetings where we discuss needs, priorities and budget, and define action plans for the coming year.  For more information, please contact us.
