Attention Hilltoppers: we will be holding our Annual Conservancy Business Meeting on Monday, February 3, 2025, from 7-8:30pm at the Verona Community Center conference room. Address is: 880 Bloomfield Avenue (at the western edge of Verona just past the intersection with Lynn Drive / Fells Road, next to the firehouse).
Agenda:
- Conservancy administration, including approval of updated by-laws and 2025 officer nominations / elections
- 2024 accomplishments
- 2025 plans, including where we need help
Please note that only current members can vote to approve by-laws or elect officers. Current members = those who have paid dues for the current year defined as January 1 – December 31, 2025.
If you plan to attend the meeting, please send me a note to confirm, and I will forward you a copy of the updated by-laws. We will not be using meeting time to review the by-laws — you are expected to have reviewed them in advance of your vote. If you have questions, email them to me before the meeting and I will clarify.
Membership dues for 2025 are as follows:
- Single $30
- Family $50
Membership dues can be paid electronically via PayPal from our website link: https://www.hilltopconservancy.org/support-hilltop/become-a-member/.
Alternatively, you can snail-mail a check c/o me as the Conservancy Treasurer, following the instructions found further down the same webpage.
Lastly, if you wait until the last minute, we will accept checks right before the meeting starts. Cash is OK, but be aware that I will not have or make change. Additional donations are always welcome.
